Lindsey & Scott Engaged in Saskatoon
Lindsey and Scott are getting married this summer in Saskatoon. Lindsey liked the idea of a winter wedding, but wasn’t able to make it work out. She figured that the next best thing was to have their engagement photos done in the winter. Even though snow was in limited quantity this year, we were able to get a day where there was some white stuff on the ground. We spent some time together late one afternoon by the river in downtown Saskatoon.

Breanne & Stewart Engaged in Saskatoon
Breanne is marrying Stewart tomorrow. You may be wondering why I’m only posting the engagement photos the day before the wedding. The answer is that Breanne lives in Saskatoon and her fiancé Stewart is from just outside of London, England. He arrived a week and a half ago, so we wasted no time getting in the engagement shoot.
We spent an afternoon together wandering around various buildings at the University of Saskatchewan making photographs. With this uncharacteristic Saskatchewan winter we’re having, we were also able to get a few shots outside. I promised Breanne and Stewart that I would have their engagement photos completed by the time they got married, so here they are.

Sharlene & Kelly’s Saskatoon Engagement
You may remember Sharlene from a lifestyle shoot that we did together last year. I was very excited when she contacted me this summer to tell me that she was getting married. She asked me if I’d photograph the day she weds her fiancée Kelly this coming winter.
For their engagement photos they wanted to have some shots with the Victoria Bridge in the background since it’s probably not going to be around Saskatoon much longer. I thought that was an excellent idea. Once we finished up down by River Landing we made our way out of town to their gorgeous new acreage where we finished off the evening together.

Sharlene and Kelly are all set to get married this December in Saskatoon. Here’s a frame we captured during their engagement shoot last weekend.
Jenna & Cam are Engaged
I was thinking about last summer and remembered having to reschedule nearly all of my shoots on the account of rain. This year has been the complete opposite. The great summer in Saskatoon has made for an ideal shooting environment. It was no different for Jenna and Cam’s engagement session. We got together for an evening last month and took our time making photographs in a couple locations around the city. Once again the light cooperated with us and we were sure to take advantage.
I’m looking forward to their wedding this January at the beautiful Elk Ridge Golf Resort in northern Saskatchewan. I’ve only been there during the summer, and I can only imagine how incredible it is going to look in the winter.
